We are thrilled to have our students and staff back in at school! Throughout this school year, we are embracing the theme "Saints in the Making." Will Nulton has been appointed as the new President at St. Michael the Archangel High School5/28/2024    On August 17, 2023, Bright Futures began construction of the St. Rosalia Center, a new 16,000 square foot facility aimed at expanding the early education program and providing athletic space for the growing community at Holy Cross Catholic School. The center is scheduled to open in August 2024.
We recently celebrated the Topping Out Party, where Bishop James Johnston and representatives from A.L. Huber provided an update on the progress. This facility will be of great benefit to the Holy Cross community. We are thankful for the donors who have already made a gift. Their generous contributions have secured 75% of the $9.1 million needed for the building. We are still seeking donors for the remaining $2.4 million. Students in grades K-4 completing 25 hours of service and students in grades 5-8 completing over 50 service hours qualified for this award. Over 200 students turned in service hours logs totaling over 5,000 hours of service in the 2023-2024 school year! Students at Holy Cross School are preparing for BEHOLD KC! Eighth-grade students at St. James Catholic School in Liberty have created a "Pinwheel Garden of Hope" to recognize the school's partnership in Protecting God's Children. The pinwheel is a symbol of child abuse prevention as it signifies playfulness, joy, and childhood. The pinwheel garden represents the hope for a journey of healing and restoration for all survivors of child abuse and sexual assault.
