RESPONSE NEEDED

Missouri Student Survey

The survey is open through March 31, 2020. The following charts shows those that have completed it. Please see previous TT article ( February 20, 2020) for the directions on how to have your students take the survey. Dan would like all schools to complete this survey so we can have good data in this area. The MSS contact person says she has about 1,000 students across the state who used a code other than assigned. If you think you have had more students take the survey than listed below, contact Dan and we will try to match them up with the right school.

Grow Your Own Principals

Dan and Pat are interested in identifying teachers you think have potential to become an effective Catholic school administrator. Please complete the following short survey with the names and contact information for any teacher on your staff you think could become an effective Catholic school administrator. We are in the process of negotiating a program with Creighton University that would be mostly online and attractive financially. This form allows you to recommend only 3 teachers. If you have more than three, please email Dan. The link to the survey.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Teacher Contracts ~ 2nd Notice ~ Updated

Attached are the part time and full time 2020-21 teacher contracts. You can use them at anytime, however, the recommended salary increase and the updated teacher salary ranges won’t be available until March 15, 2020. These two items are part of the Annual Parish Budget Packet that is issued from the diocesan business office and HR each year. The new salary ranges could impact what a new teacher is being paid or a teacher at the top of the salary range. You should wait to issue contracts until your parish receives this packet so that you pay teachers according to the salary range.  The contracts in last week’s Thursday Thoughts had a few formatting issues.  The language has stayed the same but the formatting has been fixed.
ACRE UPDATE!

We are so sorry that the ACRE scoring has been such a hassle!  We are continuing to work with them to fix all the errors that were found. Please check the site  www.nceaifg.com Monday and see if they are up.  We will let you know once all are corrected!o get your ACRE results.
Lane’s School Marketing Tip of the Week…
School Website Project Template Is Ready:
Training Session Scheduled for March 27

The School Website Project template is now ready for each participating school. The new design is mobile responsive, easy for current and prospective parents to navigate, will present your value and content attractively and effectively, and can be branded and customized for your school.

At this time, using the new template, the proposed new Nativity of Mary School site has been completed (see at https://www.newschoolwebsite.com/). The proposed new District site is also complete (view at https://www.catholicschoolsystem.net/). Both will launch soon.

The next step for this project is a full-day training session at the Diocese on Friday, March 27, (9 am-4 pm) for all school participants. Attendees will receive an overview of the new template and hosting system, and hands-on instruction for updating elements of your site. Your instructor will be Christopher Miceli from United Ventures Website Company, assisted by Lane Lucas.

Attendance is open to each participating school principal and website project representative(s). Training participants must bring a laptop. Please RSVP all attendees to Lane at lucas@diocesekcsj.org by Friday, March 20, so we can be adequately prepared. After the training completion, Lane will contact each remaining school to finalize a plan to work with Christopher and him to complete your new site.

WEEKLY PRAYER INTENTIONS

* Taken from a Lenten Prayer for Spiritual Renewal

Lord, fill my heart with Your love and keep me faithful to the Gospel of Christ.  Give me the grace to rise above my human weakness.  Give me new life by Your Sacraments, especially the Mass.
